The lake is a 200m walk and there are a
number of short walks and longer hikes in close
proximity along with excellent mountain biking trails.
A local Okareka spa offers an array of packages. There are two playgrounds within five minutes walk from the property. Lake Tarawera is a ten minute drive and offers fishing charters, cruises to the geothermal areas of the lake, gorgeous walks and a Cafe. The Blue Lake is a 2 minute drive and the Buried Village is five minutes away by car.
